Destination Gander Appoints New Marketing Manager

Destination Gander is pleased to announce and welcome Cory Abbott as its new Marketing Manager. Mr. Abbott started with Destination Gander on February 13, 2012.

Mr. Abbott brings extensive marketing and sales knowledge to the organization in addition to proven leadership and management experience. For the last seven years he was employed as Manager for the VON Broadening Horizons program in Gander. Mr. Abbott helped to establish and build this program into an awarding winning organization assisting individuals with intellectual disabilities in the Gander Area.

Mr. Abbott stated, “I am so excited to be given the opportunity to work with the partners and Board of Destination Gander and to help continue the momentum the organization has seen in its first three years. I am a proud resident of Gander and I am very excited to be able to promote this wonderful community. I look forward to growing Gander as a destination of choice for conferences and events and working with visiting organizations to make their visit to Gander as memorable and positive as possible.”
