Gander is a community with a great history and passion for sports and is well known for its community enthusiasm, volunteerism and support. From a regional high school competition to a national tournament Gander has the modern facilities to accommodate sporting events large and small.

The Town of Gander also hosts various Provincial Minor Hockey Tournaments, the Provincial
Volleyball Championship, Provincial Swim meets, and various senior hockey tournaments every
year.

Interested not only in attracting events, Destination Gander also offers an array of services to
ensure their ultimate success. From early stages of bid preparation through to the hosting of
the event, Destination Gander strives to provide organizations with a full service experience.
